Tulika Gadakari, Intelligence and Sustainability Architect

Tulika Gadakari is currently a researcher at the University of Wolverhampton, UK exploring the relationship between Intelligent buildings and Sustainability. She is highly passionate about using novel technologies as a way of opening new avenues for an improved architectural outlook. Her topic of research reflects the same zeal. She has obtained a Master’s degree in Sustainable Architectural Studies from the University of Sheffield, UK and graduated as an Architect from Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai, India in 2008.

She has a varied experience of working on industrial establishments, residential developments, urban townships, landscape planning, residential and commercial interiors and heritage conservation. Now she plans on promoting her expertise in intelligent buildings by incorporating it in simple daily scenarios so as to enhance quality of life without being overtly expensive. When not envisioning an intelligent future for mankind Tulika enjoys reading fiction mainly crime thrillers and sci-fi along with watching movies, photography and travelling
